This is the work that changes a garden: the plan, the planting, and the stone and gravel that give it shape. We treat the three as one job, drawn together and built in phases, so the patio, the paths and the beds belong to the same garden.
Design starts on site. We visit, measure the property and listen to how you want to use it. From that we prepare a measured plan and a planting plan, along with a written scope that sets out the work. You see all of it before any work starts.
We plant native species and others suited to the Tennessee Valley climate, chosen so the garden can be maintained without a fight. The ground gets as much attention as the plants.
Hard surfaces set the lines of a garden and decide how you move through it. We build them as part of the plan, with materials sourced regionally where possible.
Ask for a site visit and we will start with the property itself.
